Senior Counsel

Description: Americo Life, Inc is at present recruited Senior Counsel right now, this position will be placed in Missouri. More details about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. We are currently looking for an experienced attorney for our Legal Department. This position will directly supervise and develop the work and careers of legal professionals including attorneys. He/She will manage relationships and handle assignments involving a wide-variety of areas and disciplines within the organization, including but not limited to handling of critical and significant corporate, financial and regulatory issues, litigation management and settlement negotiations for contestable claims and other high risk litigation matters, supervision of outside counsel. This position provides ! input to executives and management on numerous projects by par! ticipating and sharing valuable insight, legal knowledge and advice on business issues, process and projects.
The candidate will be responsible for assessing significant risks and sharing those risk assessments with business partners, including senior leadership, executives and Board members in order to guide decision-making at the highest levels of the corporation.
