This Customer Service Agent role for PickleballTournaments.com will provide attentive customer service for our diverse customers of players, tournament directors, league coordinators, and club owners.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers with new club/organization setup, new tournament setup, tournament review, scheduling, tournament day demo, etc.
- Ability to schedule & complete training sessions for customers using an online calendar tool
- Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues/questions from initial tournament setup to tournament completion
- Assist players with profile issues
- Ability to work with a Help Desk Software whether by phone, email, or chat from original ticket to resolution in a timely manner
- Able to work set hours to answer questions via phone, chat, and/or email
- Weekend coverage as assigned – 1 weekend of assigned rotating coverage per month
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, who is adaptable and accountable, and unafraid to ask for assistance
- Ability to work remotely, manage time, self-motivated, self-starter, goal-driven individual, with a willingness to take risks, and make mistakes in order to learn and grow
Work Experience and Skills
- 2+ years of customer service - agents will be the primary contact point with customers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to empathize and assuage anxious customers
- Experience with cloud-based HelpDesk software a plus
- Ability to concisely summarize end-of-shift needs to co-workers
- Self-directed, resourceful, and accountable with a positive “can do” attitude
- Basic knowledge of tournament play and understanding of bracketology a plus
