Job Summary:
The Business Development Analyst provides support to the Business Development Managers and Manager of Strategic Initiatives via broad range of special projects
Position Reports to:
Direct to BD Manager, dotted line to Strategic Initiatives Manager
Overall Function:
Provides both strategic and tactical Business Development support to key industry practice areas to grow existing client b! ase and acquire new clients.
Responsibilities/Duti! es:
Supports Business Development Managers with practice group strategy and execution, including
RFP, proposal, and credential pack development
E-Blast drafting, proofing, and preparation for distribution
Development of event lists of target clients for practices supported
Analysis of business development activity effectiveness through CRM database
Supports Business Development Managers and Strategic Analytics function in providing key analytics to support practices, including client/prospect, competitor, and industry analytics
Assists with various marketing team projects such as coordinating firm lists/directories, managing firms external website (practice group pages, attorney bios), managing firm collateral material (firm overview pages, practice group overview pages, etc.), and identifying new collateral to be developed
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years business development or strategic m! arketing experience, preferably in professional services or other business to business environment
BA in Business or Marketing desired
Responsibility for activities directly impacting customer/client acquisition and retention
Experience in developing client presentations, proposals, and/or RFPs
Comfort in manipulating excel to produce reporting and analysis on client and industry data
Demonstrated strong business writing skills
Demonstrated attitude of ownership and enthusiasm for embracing new ideas
