Transactional Paralegal

Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Services include inpatient and outpatient care, primary care, community health and wellness, workplace health, home health, community mental health, rehabilitation, long-term care and hospice.
Provides comprehensive service to BJC HealthCare, focused on the system's legal needs.

Role Purpose
To utilize both general and legal contracting skills and knowledge to draft, interpret and negotiate contracts to serve the needs of BJC Health System and its affiliated entities.
Responsibilities
Negotiates assigned real estate leases and other contracts with attorneys and contract administrators for non-BJC parties.
Drafts, interprets, and evaluates contract language and makes necessary recommendations for changes.
Coordinates negotiation strategy with departments involved in trans! actions and makes recommendations.
Conducts reasonable com! pensation analysis for employed physician contracts.
Coordinates responses to ad hoc internal and external requests for legal and contract information.
