REO Specialist

Kozeny, McCubbin & Katz, LLP, a growing creditorÂ's rights law firm is dedicated to providing high quality legal representation to our clients. We are seeking talented individuals who share our d! rive for providing exceptional customer service and currently have an opening for a REO Specialist to work within our St. Louis office.
The REO Specialist is responsible for processing all REO files and assisting the Attorney with the funding, disbursement and packaging of closed files. All positions require individuals able to adapt to rapidly changing industry requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy. This position operates in a fast-paced environment of tight deadlines and strict standards.
Duties include but will not be limited to
• Working with multiple computer programs; updating case management software and client websites
• Drafting communications and documents
• Communicating with clients, attorneys and courts via phone, websites and e-mail
• Reviews Contract for pertinent information, and verifies intakeÂ's data entry for accuracy
• Tracks title commitment for completion and perform! s review
• Processes file, obtaining payoff informat! ion for entities
• Tracks and obtains referee data
• Assists with other stages of the REO process as needed
Minimum requirements include
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate appropriate initiative when making decisions
• Excellent time-management, organizational and communication skills
• Accuracy and the ability to handle a high-volume of work efficiently are essential to this position
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• 1+ years of general office experience
• Prior experience in the title industry is preferred
Successful candidates must have advanced computer skills and have prior office experience. We are a Â"paperlessÂ" office and must be comfortable learning new systems, using file management software and working in multiple systems. Candidates must also have a stable work history and a motivation ! and drive to succeed.
The position is full time, Monday - Friday, 830-500pm. Benefits offered with position include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays, paid time off, voluntary ancillary benefits.
Final candidates for this position will be required to pass pre-employment drug-screening, credit, criminal and education background checks.
