Description: Missouri Public Service Commission is currently seeking to employ Deputy Counsel right now, this vacancy will be situated in Missouri. The Missouri Public Service Commission is seeking two senior level attorneys for its Office of Staff Counsel located in Jefferson City.
Duties include:
Abili! ty to manage complex cases involving state and federal regulatory matters. One position serves as Deputy Counsel for water and sewer issues and the other position serves as Deputy Counsel for gas issues at the Public Service Commission. Moderate amount of travel in-state is required.
Qualifications:
Must be member of the Missouri Bar or eligible through reciprocity. Ability to use computer word processing and other job specific software required. The successful candidate will have experience demonstrating readiness to assume first chair responsibilities in administrative litigation and will demonstrate willingness to put in the time necessary to develop a thorough grasp of issues relating to the regulation of the water and sewer or gas industry.
Starting salary range: $62,856 - $65,556; salary commensurate with education and applicable
experience.
