AIG has an opportunity for an Underwriter in its Environmental Division in the St. Louis Branch office. The primary responsibilities will be to evaluate commercial and industrial facilities, environmental consultants, and c! ontractors for environmental exposures in order to provide risk transfer solutions.
Underwriter will also be responsible for marketing AIG Environmental insurance products to insurance brokers, attorneys, environmental consultants, as well as commercial and industrial clients.
Position Requirements
Requires at least three years of Environmental Consulting, Commercial Insurance Underwriting or Broker experience with a focus in one or all of the following: Environmental, Energy, Commercial Real Estate.
Qualification requirement is a BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Biology, or Environmental Studies.
Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, combined with the ability and flexibility to work in a dynamic, challenging and fast paced environment.
Ideal candidate will posses excellent interpersonal, presentation, and marketing skills.
Candidate must have a! strong ability to analyze commercial environmental exposures.!
