Job Description
Reads, interprets, and researches correspondence and legal documents including summons, subpoenas, liens and foreclosures, plat maps and/or surveys to determine specific issues and course of action. Handles inquiries from customers, government agencies, and other interested parties. May represent the company in document production depositions.
Basic Qualifications
1+ years legal administrative assistant experience or 2+ years administrative support experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communications skills. Proven success in problem analysis and resolution. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Off! ice.
Preferred Skills
2+ years administrativ! e support experience including establishing and maintaining files, analytical, organizational and research skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to meet strict deadlines and take direction from more senior paralegals and attorneys. Excellent listening and verbal and written communication, and organizing and planning skills. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and exercise good judgment. Ability to work independently and with/within a team. Expertise at least at the Intermediate skill level with MS Office applications and aptitude for learning other on-line system navigation easily. Strong customer/client service focus is must.
