This individual will be focused on expanding RGL’s current Litigation Support / Business Valuation Practice area and generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be at the level of Partner, Director or Senior Manager. The role will be focused on Litigation Support and/or Business Valuation Practice Area; othe! r cross selling opportunities in areas of expertise would incl! ude Insurance Support and Advisory Services. This individual will be a champion â€" acting locally and thinking nationally. Additional responsibilities include overseeing Litigation Support/Business Valuation projects related to delivery of expert witness testimony for financial disputes in areas including commercial damages, forensic investigation, antitrust, valuation, transactional disputes and other related topics. The candidate will provide leadership to a team of professionals who support individual and commercial clients facing high stakes litigation, arbitration, compliance investigations, and regulatory scrutiny.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
Independently and jointly develops practice area (book of business), manages and provides leadership resulting in business development activities that promote the broad range of the firm’s capabilities, specifically Litigation Support and Business Valuation areas

Independently develops a network of referral sources including attorneys, CPAs, wealth management advisors, and business leaders to establish a pipeline of litigation/ business valuation assignments to the firm
Engages in various business development activities to grow the practice (including continuing education presentations for clients, webinars, attending industry conferences, authorship of white papers, articles, etc.)
Cultivates and maintains positive, productive, and professional relationships with current and new clients
Constantly maintains and updates comprehensive Business Development Plans to record all activity
Initiates regular joint business development activities with the Firm’s current leaders to identify and pursue additional business opportunities nationwide and internationally
CLIENT SERVICE/TECHNICAL:
Authors and issues engagement letters/proposals to clients; specifies the terms and conditi! ons associated with these engagements
Coordinates and conducts! site visits to gather information about subject businesses as necessary to complete assigned litigation engagements
Coordinates and conducts economic research and industry research as necessary to complete assigned litigation engagements
Produces complete, technically correct, and sound financial analysis and damage calculations related to all active cases
Produces written report that meets the client’s expectations and the Firm’s standards
LITIGATION SUPPORT / BUSINESS VALUATION EXPERTISE
Manages the Litigation Support engagements communicating with other employees, partners, attorneys, and clients as necessary to ensure a high degree of satisfaction with the process and the ultimate deliverable
Analyzes and reconstructs fraudulent transactions, complex transactions, financial statements, etc.
Prepares questions for witnesses
Provides clear and concise expert and/or fact witness testimony on litig! ation and/or arbitration matters
Produces Economic Damage and Business Valuation analyses
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited college/university in the areas of Accounting or Finance.
Must be accredited by one or more professional business valuation organizations and possess one or more of the following credentials â€" CPA, CFA, ASA, CVA/AVA, ABV and additional credentials such as CFE, CFF, CBA.
Experience providing expert witness testimony on litigation and/or arbitration matters highly desirable
Ability to effectively communicate best practices and business cases to executive peers and Partners
Experience in working on multiple concurrent cases
Strong technical and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and other specific programs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong project management skills
Ab! ility to work both independently and as part of a team with professiona! ls at all levels
Strong interpersonal skills, including communicating in person, by e-mail and by telephone
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
