Admissions Liaison
Location: Lee's Summit Missouri
- Provides tours of the Valley View Residential Care and explains policies and procedures to potential residents and family members.
- Accurately enters admission information from hospitals into the HealthMedX system.
- Answers inquiries from families, hospitals, insurance companies, case managers ! and other involved parties.
Knowledge and Skills (required unless noted):
- Intermediate keyboarding skills.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications â€" Word and Excel.
- Intermediate level knowledge of CareMDX or other similar medical system is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients or employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, rates, and percentages.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in routine, standard situations.
