For complete informations about this career opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Hire Counsel is currently staffing a project for a law clerk with a large corporation. In this position, you will be responsible for performing complex legal r! esearch, preparing drafts of legal documents such as motions or briefs, reviewing documents for relevance and privilege, and assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation. Qualified candidates will have at least two years of experience and have sound working knowledge of federal and state court filing systems. Excellent oral and written communication, and the ability to work independently, or as part of a team, are also crucial for this position.
Required Experience
Juris Doctor -- no bar admission required
2+ years of experience as an attorney, either at a firm, corporation, or doing document review
Working knowledge of federal and state court filing and procedures
Solid legal research skills (LEXIS and/or Westlaw)
e-Discovery experience extremely helpful
Project Details
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday thru Friday -- 40 hours per week
Duration: Indefinite
Pay Rate: Market Rate
