The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of the support readiness and operational aspects ! of the infrastructure components that support a business service. This includes the coordination of support and maintenance activities for the business and infrastructure solutions assigned to the Project Manager. This position is responsible for the coordination of infrastructure releases, maintenance activities, and service restoration activities in the event of a production incident. This is achieved by:

Leading and directing the appropriate on-call activities on bridge calls to restore service as quickly as possible during major incidents Developing and leading orchestration plans for infrastructure releases Creating and maintaining support data in the Configuration Management Database Leading continuous improvement activities, including root cause and lessons learned, following major incidents to monitor and improve the overall health of the solution On-call support and off-hour availability via pager is required

In addition, responsibilities include ! providing timely and accurate notifications, status updates, s! ystem availability, and closure reports for support and maintenance activities. This position collaborates with others to define maintenance scope and objectives and to identify the appropriate skills and resources to conduct this work through a matrixed resource environment. 24x7 On-call support and off-hour availability via pager is required.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred At least five years’ experience working in a large scale computing and/or networking environment Proficient knowledge of analysis techniques, tool usage and standards Proficient in usage of information gathering techniques (i.e. brainstorming, round-robin, etc.) Problem solving and analytical skills which include the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, establish a plan, and set priorities Excellent personal management skills emphasizi! ng time management, planning, organization, and attention to detail Meeting participation and facilitation skills; including the ability to keep meetings focused, identify and assign tasks, manage conflicts, and summarize meeting highlights Knowledge of Service Management as well as technologies prevalent in Data Centers, including UNIX, IBMi, Windows, Oracle, and Network. Knowledge of computer system concepts (servers, storage, database, middleware, and networking Experience with operational support tools, such as Service-Now, for configuration management, change management, request fulfillment, incident and problem management Knowledge of ITIL processes such as Change, Problem, Incident, Availability, and Configuration Management Exceptional interpersonal and negotiations skills Superior written and verbal communication skills Proficient in people management

Desired skills: Prior experience in Support Management or ITIL Service Management roles is a plus I! TIL Certification is a plus Knowledge of business continuity and recove! ry processes a plus Prior Project Management skills in a large computing environment Experience in Application Development or Infrastructure release management a plus Prior experience working in a “reactive” support role.
