The Implementation team within EndPoint Computing is primarily responsible for the implementation phase of technology solutions or the B! uild phase of a Design/Build/Run department. The team is organized and structured to benefit from cross training with individuals assigned a primary and secondary solution. Primary goal of the team structure is to contribute to the design and implement the technology identified in technology release roadmaps, projects and work requests. Change planning and management as well as ownership for EndPoint Computing solutions is a core focus. The Systems Engineer provides guidance to Tier III support groups to remediate pervasive issues and lend capacity to support teams during peak situations. This position includes project participation to accurately communicate status and milestone progress.
Qualifications: Two plus years of experience in following an engineering development life cycle in a Systems Engineer role Client Server Security â€" Risk and Vulnerability Management and Compliance Experience with the following tools: Qualys, Google Postini, TrendMicro pro! ducts â€" TMCM, OfficeScan, ServerProtect, IMSVA, IWSVA, ScanM! ail, Trend Mobile Security or similar tools Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred Demonstrate the ability to implement solutions within Information Technology standards Demonstrated proficiency solving complex problems Must possess detail oriented design skills combined with effective time management Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills “On call†for solution issues Scripting ability with PowerShell and/or VBScript Security+ Certification a plus
