This team is responsible for business applications/services supporting self service rentals. Flexible work arrangements are available along with the opportu! nity to work on various SOA and business applications. The Senior Software Engineer will be part of a project team which is responsible for all phases of an agile-like software development lifecycle (SDLC). Mentor less experienced Software Engineers. Develops prototypes and performs application coding and programming Interprets end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design specifications for off-the-shelf and/or custom-developed applications Analyzes and reviews software requirements to determine feasibility of a design within time and cost restraints Performs unit and integration testing and assists with developing unit test scripts Update and maintain application build scripts. Support dependant applications and services
Technical Environment: J2EE ESB (Mule) Spring Struts Hibernate Oracle Ant/Maven
Qualifications: Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponso! rship by our company for this position now or in the future Ba! chelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred 5 + years of Java & J2EE 2+ years of Oracle database environment 2+ years experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Struts 1+ years experience Ant/Maven build configuration framework 1+ years experience with Tomcat Application Server, WebServices, and exposure to AOP and exposure to SOA is preferred Experience with the ESB frameworks like Mule is a plus Experience with the configuration and setup of J2EE application servers Solid knowledge of Unix operating systems
Additional Skills and Competencies: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications software Good communication skills to effectively communicate with various IT teams
