Job duties include:
Provide medical case management to individuals, keeping open communication with the patient, physicians and other health care providers as well as employers, attorneys etc.
Develops plans, makes recommendations and assist in the implementation of the client's rehabilitation progress goals.
Negotiates services and creates cost-effective long term strategies for healthcare
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health-oriented path such as nursing, Biology, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy or similar
Very strong communication skills required
Strong, flexible, and creative problem solving and deci! sion-making skills- every client is different so Healthcare Co! ordinator must be comfortable "thinking on their feet"
Good organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet agreed upon deadlines
