Overview
The Companion Animal Parasite Council invites applications for an Association Manager position to begin immediately. The Association Manager serves as an operations manager for the day-to-day business of the organization, a marketing/pro! ject manager for key marketing programs, and an important liai! son to CAPC sponsors throughout the year. Reporting directly to the Executive Director he/she ensures that CAPC operates in an efficient and cost effective manner while fulfilling its mission to protect pets and people from parasites.
Primary Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to the continued development and success of CAPC through supporting the Executive Director with maintaining and strengthening existing relationships with sponsors and cultivating new relationships with potential sponsors. The Association Manager will attend key conferences and meet with sponsor representatives to share strategic programs, ensure alignment and look for future partnership opportunities. She/He will partner with the marketing agency of record to coordinate CAPC participation in major meetings including program placement and speaker information as well as booth space, setup and registration. The Association Manager will serve as lead p! roject manager for marketing programs identified by the Executive Director and ensure that these programs are delivered on time and on-budget. She/He will also maintain the CAPC websites and respond to all general requests for information. The Association Manager provides logistical and administrative support the Board of Directors through coordination of meetings and preparation and distribution of meeting minutes, in addition to fulfilling requests from Board members as needed. The Association Manager maintains communications with the CAPC attorney and supports the Executive Director, CAPC accountant, and bookkeeper as required.
