For detail informations about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. The Escrow Processor LLSS works with customer and title to ensure that transactions are cleared to close.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Review title insurance ! commitments to identify items that must be remedied to convey clear title.
Prepare conveyance deeds based on each sellerÂ's instructions - verify vesting, confirm if power of attorney has been previously recorded, request original power of attorney if needed.
Obtain payoffs of taxes, homes associations, and any lienable items.
Request commission letters and invoices from real estate agents.
Prepare and/or obtain all other documents for closing - loan documents, seller documents, LenderLive documents.
Communicate and facilitate communication with all parties involved in the transaction. This includes updating customer websites with status.
Verify location of signing and schedule the closing with all parties.
Update and maintain accurate records of all communication and steps to obtain necessary documentation in the companyÂ's computer system.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will view, have access to, and work with co! nfidential financial data. The employee in this position must ! adhere to strict confidentiality policies and procedures.
Perform related duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS - Summarize the typical qualifications in terms of education or work equivalent, years of related experience and other additional technical/professional/trade competencies of this job.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience :
  • Two (2) years administrative experience. Experience in the title insurance industry helpful, but not required. Experience working in a paperless environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to work with a pleasant, reliable, and responsible approach to work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent phone etiquette & communication skills, both oral & written.
Good interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail.
Well-organized, with the ability to multi-task at a fast pace.

  • Self starter with demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision, work on multiple projects at once, establish work priorities, and manage time in order to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Proficient in handling multiple phone lines.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS - Indicate traveling, mandatory weekend or shift work, or other applicable work conditions.

    Schedule must be flexible to accommodate overtime when necessary. Regular office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.

    Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting . The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or fe! el; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The empl! oyee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds. Vision: Close and distance required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Speech/Hearing: Frequently interact with management, vendors, coworkers, industry constituents, clients and the public.
