Responsibility:
Individual will utilize SharePoint administration skills, systems and business analysis experience, as well as project management skills, to coordinate and accomplish business and technical objectives. Individual will manage the SharePoint environment, will meet with internal customers, conduct process and systems analysis, manage SQL Server databases, perform data analysis, create reports using SQL Reporting Services and Excel, as well as prepare and prioritize requirements, and develop project management plans.
Key Attributes for the position:
Develops, manages, and enforces SharePoint environment policies and procedures, security, and performance based upon experience and best practices Manages updates, patches, bug fixes, and other deployments to the SharePoint fa! rm Monitors performance and troubleshoots problems on SharePoi! nt farm Works with network storage engineers to ensure storage, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place, tested, and functioning within guidelines Assists with maintaining the SharePoint governance plan and procedures for compliance. SQL Server database design and administration. Reporting and Data Analysis using Excel, Microsoft Access, and SQL Reporting Services. Can perform query optimization when needed. Will collect, analyze, and prepare business, functional, system, and quality requirements. Can provide Project Management experience by developing and maintaining project plans and project-specific processes where applicable. Can coordinate and lead project resources in a cross-functional environment.
Other :
Experience in system level SharePoint administration including the ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and configure managed services, information policies, security, and performance. Ability to manage and apply updates, patches, bug ! fixes, and other deployments to the SharePoint farm. Knowledge of SharePoint best practices. Advanced proficiency in the use of T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions. Proficient in SQL Server. Able to design and model databases. Experience using common tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Access, for data analysis, data mining, and data scrubbing. Knowledge of SDLC processes, such as Agile.
Education and Preferred Experience:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, though relevant experience may be substituted for partial education requirements.
- 2+ years Microsoft SharePoint administration experience.
- 3+ Microsoft SQLServer experience.
- 3+ years of experience in business and systems analysis.
- 5+ years of experience in an IT role.
