Further informations about this occupation opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. will be responsible for the following: (i) drafting, review and negotiation of general System Office contracts; (ii) providing general legal and corporate support to Ascension Health; (iii) assist with oversight and coordination regarding the use of outside legal counsel; and (iv) provide overall support to Senior Vice President, Legal Services & General Counsel, Vice President, Legal Services & Associate General Counsel, and Senior Counsel, Legal Services.Perform all of the duties and responsibilities of this position in a manner which is consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Ascension Health. Promotes and exemplifies and supports the Ascension Health Core Values of Service of the Poor, Reverence, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity, and Dedication.Provide legal support to Senior Vice President, Legal Services & General Counsel, Vice President, Legal Services & Associate General Counsel and Senior Counsel, Legal Services.Assist with the in-house legal function for Ascension Health in cooperation with the General Counsel, Associate General Counsel and Senior Counsel, including the provision of legal services and assist in managing outside legal relationships.Draft, review and negotiate System Office contracts. Assist in the legal review of projects that are submitted to Ascension Health for approval.Serve as a member of various Ascension Health work groups, committees and teams, as appropriate, where the strategic or legal advice and counsel of a lawyer are appropriate. Assist in the development of communications methods to share legal knowledge throughout the System.This associate promotes, exemplifies and supports the Ascension Health Core Values of Service of the Poor, Reverence, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity, and Dedication.
All work is performed with a direct reflection of the Mission, Vision and Values of Ascension Health.Excellence in academic achievement, with a J.D. or a L.L.M. awarded by an ABA accredited law school.A minimum of 5-7 years legal experience in organizations in the healthcare industry. Expertise and the ability to provide advice and counsel on legal issues of health care organizations.

Experience working on a broad spectrum of legal matters.
