Full-Time Customer Relations Specialist
Summary:
Assist customers who have filed a complaint or who have escalated their issue to the Customer Relations department seeking resolution or explanation. Acts as the bank liaison and an advocate for the customer.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Ensures that customer issues or concerns are being responded to quickly and professionally.
- Initiates research and assists in preparing written responses to the OCC, Better Business Bureaus, and Attorney General in a timely manner.
- Make recomme! ndations to improve our customer service in all areas of the bank and branches based on observations and evidence.
- Review customer complaints about our banking products, or employee interaction with the customer and determines the validity of the complaint. Makes recommendations for resolution.
- Coordinates with other Associates to obtain detailed information in regards to complaints.
- Make outbound calls to customers to address specific situations proactively.
- Takes escalated calls from Customer Care Center.
- Trouble shoots problems for customers.
- Processes daily Helpline tickets from the branches and Customer Care Center relative to customer complaints.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Projects a courteous and professional attitude at all times with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be able to handle! stressful customer interactions with customers who are upset or angry.!
- Must exhibit strong problem solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task in an environment with constantly changing priorities and deadlines as governed by customer interactions.
- Strong regulatory compliance knowledge with the ability to watch for red flags.
- Clearly understands purposes, objectives, practices and procedures of other bank departments.
- Experience and skill using various bank and other software such as Evision, Director, Adobe Live Cycle, Word, Excel, is necessary.
- Knowledgeable about FDIC insurance rules and how to calculate coverage.
