The Product Manager â€" Decision Support is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, tactical direction, communication and success measurements of Self-Serv! ice Reporting solutions (both Operational and Analytical), Data Warehousing, and Ad-hoc Reporting to meet business goals. This position assists with defining product strategy and features. The Product Manager also assists with creating products and solutions that meet business needs. In addition, this position coordinates communications between multiple business sponsor(s) and multiple IT team. This position would report to the Senior Manager of Product Management and Business Analysis for Decision Support.
Qualifications:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Excellence in the areas of Executive-level communication, relationship building, team-orientated execution, prioritization and public speaking ! are essential
Ability to network across multiple departmen! ts in order to gain consensus and cooperation of others
Ability to prepare and deliver informal and formal presentations to own team, department, other IT teams, and business partners
Ability to collaborate and partner with subordinates and/or functional peer groups. Collaboration may involve presentation and exchange of information
Highly experienced professional who uses broad expertise, knowledge, and skills to resolve complex issues; contributes to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways
Ability to establish and report on key performance metrics for the team
Ability to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
Ability to assist with the development of strategic planning for team
Ability to plan and manage project activities within project plan and/or provides input into the tasks in the project plan
Ability to work on medium to large, co! mplex initiatives with interdependencies where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and proactive risk management
Ability to provide technical leadership to project teams and/or lead project teams within area/department
Ability to define, develop, communicate, and implement standards, processes, and procedures for the team
Ability to assist in managing outside vendor relationships
