Description: JUDGE GROUP is currently seeking to employ EDITOR right now, this occupation will be settled in Missouri. Our client is currently seeking a EDITOR for a 4-6 month contract with high probability of extending into 2015. Duties include: *Become familiar with and adhere to an editorial style guide specific to ! a given business line
- Edit and proofread Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, assessment questions and other learner-facing content according to guideline in the style guide
- Provide recommendations for revisions and transitions as needed.
Strong editing and proofreading skills; knowledge of Associated Press style preferred.
Basic-to-moderate skill in HTML coding strongly recommended; knowledge of web architecture and learning content management systems preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to focus on details.
Well-developed critical thinking skills, including sound judgment, conflict resolution and the ability to juggle tasks and priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to act as an ! enthusiastic team member and work corroboratively within a rem! ote team.
Comfortable with the use of computer-based tools, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Hours will vary from 20-40 hours/week.
Candidates with banking or financial services experience preferred.
