Position Description
As the Corporate Recruiter for bioMerieux you will be supporting the recruiting activities of a successful and expanding company. The Corporate Recruiter provides collaborative branding and talent search efforts with uni! versities, professional organizations, trade organizations and! other forums in the life science, biotechnology or medical device industries.
- Responsible for internal mobility, diversity and university relations programs. Propose and implement strategies in order to source top candidates utilizing direct sourcing, social media, internal succession plans, job fairs, networking, trade shows, employee referrals, etc.
- Champion collaborative relations between bioMerieux and major universities in order to implement an University Relations strategy. Thus, attracting top graduates and interns for roles within the Company.
- Design and drive innovative projects and campaigns (i.e. global social media project, diversity initiatives) to attract top talent while promoting the Company as an employer of choice.
- Maintain familiarity to all applicable laws governing the recruiting and hiring process.
- Maintenance and monitoring of recruiting tools, including training managers on the effective use of these ! tools and the recruiting process.
- Prepare updates for presentation to the management and executive teams.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Life Sciences, Business or HR-related disciplines
- 3 years or more of experience in recruiting, corporate branding and/or career counseling
- A mix of corporate and agency recruiting experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of life science industry including the quality and regulatory environment and labor market preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to constructively and positively influence others.
- Excellent communicator (written and oral) with ability to communicate to audiences at all levels in a clear and effective manner.
- Demonstrate project management skills while managing multiple projects at once.
- Highly skilled judge of candidate performance and behavior based on interv! iews.
- Proficient in the use of all recruitment tools including! social media, application software, etc.***
