Description
DuPont’s facility located in St Louis, has a Paralegal position available.
DuPont Legal is currently seeking a paralegal position to ! assist the commercial attorneys in providing timely, cost effective legal services to the business partners and to provide
assistance in all general business related matters.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
General commercial and investigative support to in-house attorneys and business contacts, as well as coordination with outside counsel if necessary, on a variety of issues including, but not limited to:
Advertisement, product literature and promotion review
Anti-trust issues
Claims handling
Contract and Non-Disclosure Agreement work including, but not limited to:
Review, amend, and draft commercial contracts for business clients
Identify legal and business issues on contracts proposed by business clients, and liaise with commercial attorneys as needed
Develop or update templates as needed
Ensure that business clients are adhering to standard template! s and process developed
Contract administration and m! anagement, including maintenance of contract database and involvement with corporate record retention and corporate compliance program issues
General legal research
Investigation and due diligence associated with contracts, and/or acquisition and divestiture work of various businesses
Product Stewardship
Subsidiary issues
Trademark misuse and internet usage issues
Understanding and facilitating corporate records, minute books and transactions
Assisting attorney with general administrative duties

Qualifications !
In order to be qualified for this role, you
must possess
the following:
Four year Bachelors degree
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited or approved program or at least 5 years related work experience
At least 3-5 years minimum paralegal experience or specialized training specific to job requirements.
Demonstrates strong organization and investigative skills
Demonstrated ability to work and think independently, self starter.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both a written and oral manner
The following skill sets are
preferred
by the business unit:
Knowledge and familiarity with Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw and other online research tools
Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook/SharePoint® applications
