We have an immediate opening in our Kansas City office for a Part-Time Immigration Paralegal.
The Immigration Paralegal is responsible for a full range of business-related immigration matters. The Paralegal will work directly with the Firms Immigration Attorney to provide full cycle production for a range of business-based immigrant and non-immigrant petitions. This will include direct client contact and independently preparing applications for attorney review. This part-time position consists of approximately 20 hours per week.
Bachelors Degree and Paralegal certificate preferred.
2 or more years of immigration experience including substantive work in the following areas: Business-based nonimmigrant applications
Labor certifications
Applications for Business-Based Immigrant Visas
Consular processing/visa applications
Adjustment of Status
Corollary Applications such as Employment Authorization, Advance ! Parole, Re-Entry Permits
Naturalization
Knowledge! of government agency processes and communications methods.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Significant client case management experience.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and self-manage work load.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proven success working in a fast-paced, continually changing environment.
Ability to prioritize; excellent time management.
