This position will sit in our Pitney Bowes Management Services business unit. This business unit helps our customers compete more effectively by taking care of critical yet non-core services to allow them to focus on what they do best. These services include: professional consulting, mail-and-document management and managed output services to integrated content management! .
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Technic! al Specialist . The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in our Kansas City, MO location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : · Ability to provide consultative, operational, and technical support throughout all phases of eDiscovery ·Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals · Work with eDiscovery software and document review databases, including Ipro eScan-IT, Ipro eCapture, Ipro Copy+, Ipro Allegro, Compiled Services ReadySuite. ·Utilize Adobe Professional (redaction, electronic exhibit and message endorsement), Excel formatting, eBates, file conversion, batch printing, etc. ·Develop an understanding of the client's business strategy and how best to assist in their efforts ·Establish or maintain databases according to the established criteria of the client ·Develop policies and procedures for processes ·Maintain processes for Quality Assurance ·Support financial! responsibility of the client by minimizing site waste and rework ·Complete all requests in a timely manner ·Identify and create the potential for add-on business by developing a deep understanding of the clients' business strategy and needs All interested individuals must apply online. Minimum 3 years Law Firm or Legal vendor experience in Litigation Support area and/or experience with an eDiscovery Service Provider required
Effective customer relationship building skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills
Proven experience in high volume/fast paced environment
Ability to resolve issues without management supervision! required
May be required to move and/or lift items weighing up to ! 50 pounds or the maximum allowed by current State Law with or without accommodations
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time with or without accommodations
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
Must have a clean driving record
Must have a valid driver's license
Experience with imaging/file conversion software (E-Scan-IT, eCapture, ReadySuite, etc.) online review tools (Concordance, Summation, Clearwell, etc..), with a strong grasp of the eDiscovery process; minimum 1 year experience in eDiscovery is required
Experience with manipulating data load files and metadata extraction
Experience with batch electronic redaction and electronic Bates numbering/endorsement software
Experience in operating office equipment including, but not limited to, copiers, scanners, printers, and multi-function devices
Knowledge and experience with the hardware printing and scanning platforms such as ! Canon, Konica Minolta, Bell &Howell scanners, Creo, Fiery.
Must become familiar with a variety of onsite printing and scanning equipment and be capable and willing to perform first level troubleshooting.
Familiar with PDF, TIFF, JPG file format.
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and/or Nuance PDF Converter
Familiar with networks, client/server technology, PCs and Windows XP, 7. Preferred Qualifications :
Undergraduate degree preferred although not required
