Our strong team of closing officers and attorneys has the knowledge and experience to overcome any obstacle that may arise during the closing process. We are currently seeking a REO Closing Processor to join our team.
The primary responsibility of the REO Closing Processor position is to process all REO files - handling those steps in the process which are uniform across all clients - and assisting the closers with the funding, disbursement, and packaging of closed files. This position operates in a fast-paced environment of tight deadlines and strict standards.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to
• Provides outstanding customer service in person and on the phone to all clients, agents, customers, and coworkers.
• Reviews Contract for pertinent information, and verifies intakeÂ's data entry for accuracy.
• Tracks title commitment for completion and performs ! review.
• Processes file, obtaining payoff informati! on for entities such as HOAÂ's, Cities, Sewer Districts, etc.
• Verifies earnest money deposits and commission charges, orders surveys
• Maintains database of HOAÂ's, City Tax Departments, Sewer Districts, Water Districts, Levy Districts, and other lienable districts - in CaseAware.
• Assist Closer with funding, disbursement, and packaging.
• Communicates with real estate agents, loan officers, and client representatives.
• Works with management, clients, and title curative team to obtain necessary documents to clear title in accordance with company and client standards to obtain necessary information and coordinate for the upcoming closing.
Minimum requirements include
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate appropriate initiative when making decisions
• Willingness to learn and apply knowledge in title law
• Excellent time-management, organizational and communicatio! n skills
• Must be punctual and have good consistent attendance. Must also be available for overtime when required.
• Should demonstrate good listening skills and the ability to work well with internal and external customers.
• Must be a team player and willing to offer assistance to others where and when needed.
Successful candidates must have advanced computer skills and have prior office experience. We are a Â"paperlessÂ" office and must be comfortable learning new systems, using file management software and working in multiple systems. Candidates must also have a stable work history and a motivation and drive to succeed.
The position is full time, Monday - Friday, 830-500pm. Benefits offered with position include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays, paid time off, voluntary ancillary benefits.
This position does require that the successful candidate obtain a permanent ProducerÂ's of Title insurance for ea! ch state in which Insight Title is operational (exclusively those state! s that do not issues ProducerÂ's Licenses to title insurance agents). Additionally, you will be required to maintain your ProducerÂ's Licenses as a condition of continues employment with Insight Title Company, LLC.
