Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits paralegal position may include local and virtual attorney support for litigations, Department of Labor Investigations, National Labor Rela! tions Board Charges, and internal and external employment and discrimination matters. This position also performs routine functions that include but are not limited to: assisting human resource clients with garnishments, internal and external audit, and providing or directing these clients to other Boeing resources.

Administers and maintains law department projects, policies, procedures and practices. Performs research, analyzes information in response to legal issues, and follows-up. Drafts, reviews and revises documents. Provides support to outside counsel and internal law personnel. Identifies, collects and organizes relevant documents in response to requests. Performs oversight of legal support and training. Maintains legal management systems and maintenance of data bases. Coordinates interview activities. Responds to requests for documents. Communicates legal advice. Develops and maintains document retention activities. Coordinates and processes communication,! correspondence and documentation with outside counsel, the re! sponsible attorney and other personnel. Identifies and protects all oral and written communications. Schedules and coordinates work load support of legal management activities. Reviews document requests and coordinates work assignments. Conducts training. Provides input, processes and results for data management systems. Conducts interviews to gather background information and identify issues for legal review. Identifies and protects all oral and written communications. Reviews and recommends budget projections for outside counsel and vendors expenses. May lead practice group activities and deploy key messages in support of business managers. A cooperative, positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary. Position requires the ability to communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.
