Corporate Director - Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action The candidate will lead the company's efforts to ensure compli! ance for the company's affirmative action programs and all related state/federal employment requirements, including E.O. 11246, Section 4212, and Section 503. Will maintain EEO/AA compliance across the company's business units by providing guidance and direction in the development, analysis, and implementation of Business Unit Affirmative Action Plans. Develop strategies and processes to ensure affirmative action plans and related programs meet regulatory standards. Serve as the company liaison to the Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs for all stages of the compliance review process (i.e. inquiries, requests, desk audits, onsite reviews, conciliation agreements, etc.). Provide regular communication and training to Business Unit HR Professionals. Conduct internal audits/reviews to evaluate AAP compliance (i.e. analysis of personnel activities, record keeping, compensation, outreach efforts, etc.). Keep abreast of the regulatory landscape a! ffecting EEO/AAP compliance in order to develop compliance str! ategies and actions. Leverage MS SharePoint in tracking, collecting, maintaining, and communicating EEO/AAP requirements and obligations. Present complex legal information/requirements to HR Professionals and business leaders, including presenting at Corporate and Business Unit HR Conferences. Represent the company externally with appropriate industry liaison groups and other business member groups.
The candidate should have M.A./M.S. in Business, Human Resources, or related subject area or equivalent work experience. A J.D. degree is a plus. Must have 7+ years of experience in audits directly related to affirmative action plan compliance. Should have strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to EEO/AA development. Ability to conduct briefings on affirmative action, OFCCP compliance and EEO issues is required.
