The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for managing and growing profitable commercial lending relationships while developing sound relationships. The Com! mercial Loan Officer will hold the responsibility of ensuring that goals are met, partners are informed of current commercial lending protocols and the customers are engaged and satisfied with all Banks services. The position of the Commercial Loan Officer is a demanding position that will require individuals with a positive attitude, the desire to achieve all goals, a passion for the banking industry and dedication to do what is needed to be successful. Create and maintain profitable relationships with local centers of influence such as Accountants and Attorneys through active networking and cold calling efforts. Work closely with supporting partners; Market Leaders, Relationship Managers, Mortgage Lenders, and Bank Financial Representatives; participating in but not limited to, blitz calling days, bank days, joint client meetings and community events. Actively enhance the financial relationship of the commercial client by cross selling Bank products and services where app! licable Active participation in the commercial application pro! cess including but not limited to; obtaining completed application packages , preparation of an initial loan proposal draft, and diligent follow up on all needed documents as requested by the underwriters. Maintain active communication with the underwriting department while acting as the customers point of contact for any and all questions that may arise, thus ensuring that the clients needs are met and the loan closes is in a timely and organized manner. Responsible for monitoring all pending loan applications for timely responses by both Bank and client to ensure that no loan becomes stale, clients are kept fully aware of their progress through the application process and that loans close within a timely manner.
Formal bank credit training preferred Minimum of 5 to 10 years commercial lending experience.
