Special Loans Svc Processor 1
Position requires industry and technical knowledge typically gained through exposure across multiple mortgage functions. Familiarity with all real estate mortgage loan types, processing stages, loan status, investor guidelines, working knowledge of cash accounting and delinquency treatment is required. Incumbent is responsible for reviewing transactions related to Mortgage Real Estate products specific to "Special products" (Adjustable Rate Mortgages, Balloon Reset, Service member Civil Relief Act, Interest Only etc) to determine and execute
necessary actions to ensure changes compl! y with regulatory requirements.
Failure to properly a! pply professional judgment when processing account changes which could lead to client complaints, financial loss and possible litigation.
Direct contact with the mortgagor holder, investors, attorney's and regulatory bodies responding to loan inquiries/disputes which requires exceptional servicing skills and comprehensive loan servicing knowledge.
Processing includes documenting the servicing system in a clear and concise manner based on independent judgment of applied decisions in order to respond to the client
Qualifications
Mortgage Banking Experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Internet experience for ARM indicies. Excellent document knowledge. Ability to multi task. 10 key and Citilink experience. Ability to work under tight time frames and deadlines. Must be able to work independently with limited amount of guidance.
