Responsibilities

Responsible for identifying, recruiting and hiring the highest quality Attorney candidates through cold-calls, email, networking, job postings, on-campus interviewing, etc., on an on-going basis.
Continually builds a pipeline of strong candidates in! each assigned market across the United States.
Actively u! ses our Recruiting Management System to submit resumes for Attorney candidates weekly.
Fills Attorney positions within 60 days and Management positions within 90 days of the initial request.
Reports request date, day selected for interview and fill date to the HR Generalist for monthly reporting.
Proactively keeps an open position moving forward in our recruiting process.
Provides regular updates to Partners on status of positions.
Ensures the assigned Partner conducts interviews within 10 business days of candidate approval.
Coordinate interviews as directed, notifying attendees and ensuring same is calendared.
Administers pre-employment testing to candidates within 24 hours of Partner request.
Represents the Firm professionally and respectfully with all candidates.
Follow up with all candidates interviewed but not offered a position via email or mail, thanking the candidate for their time and interest in the Firm, maintaining copies of ! the same.
Sends follow up notification through Newton to all candidates that applied but not qualified, thanking them for their application and interest in the Firm.
Maintains resumes and tests on file in accordance with local, state and federal rules.
Provides the HR Director with a Recruiting Checklist outlining the discussions held with candidates upon notification that an offer will be made.
Proactively seeks new and innovative ways of recruiting and brings ideas to HR Director for program creation and implementation. Manages these projects as assigned by the HR Director.
Develops and maintains relationships with pipeline candidates to maintain a consistent connection.
Demonstrates the Mission and Values of Cordell and Cordell internally and with all candidates.
Demonstrates a collaborative communication style with all employees and the HR Team.
Remains knowledgeable of and effectively leverages internal benefits and programs that candida! tes would find attractive.
Maintains confidentiality with HR relate! d matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school degree
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in recruiting
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Professional demeanor-positive communication
Strong collaboration and ability to work with a team/cross function cooperation
Excellent computer literacy, including a solid understanding of recruiting management systems, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel applications;
Incredible organization skills
Ability to move quickly and comfortably between multiple projects, managing them from start to finish
