Description
Full time opening for Patient Ac! counting Representative focused on Workers Compensation Program accounts resolution.
Responsibilities includes follow up and resolution of accounts related to work compensation. This position requires contact with claimants and/or their attorneys, and as well as routine contact with insurances and agents.
This position determines compensability and/or coverage issues for workers' compensation claims involving loss of time, directing settlements under management's review, directing the activities of outside investigation, and handling litigation files within given authority.
Qualified applicants should have:
- 1-3 years position-related experience handling worker’s compensation claims.
- Prior Insurance Carrier experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organization skills with accuracy and attention to detail
