We have an immediate opening for our client located in Chesterfield, MO for a full-time Associate General Counsel position. This position w! ill report to the General Counsel and will provide general legal support to clients and customers in the areas of credit transactions, securitization of collateral, strategic and proactive leadership on legal and regulatory issues, defining corporate policies, procedures and programs and providing support to all departments within the organization.
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the areas of representation associated with banking and/or regulated commercial lender; provided counsel with regard to and/or managed litigation, settlements and/or workouts on behalf of banks or regulated commercial lender(s) such as suppliers, financial institutions or similar entities that involved aspects of documentation and general law; experience in Uniform Commercial Code work.
Also, general agricultural awareness on a national or at least regional basis is desired but not required. And interest in learning about agricultur! e and agricultural lending is required. Knowledge and experien! ce in BSA/AML and regulatory compliance matters. Knowledge of European Banking compliance issues also desired, but not required.
