Responsible for the Risk Management Program, including risk identification, assessment, and control for St. Johns Health Center, Springfield Clinic and St. Johns Health Systems. The Risk Manager acts as an administrative liaison representing the Health System in claims management and communicates with patients, families, employees, attorneys, insurance companies and other entities as needed to accomplish the objectives of the Risk Management Program.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy Values. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.,Education: Degree in nursing or other healthcare related area. Licensure: Risk Management certification or actively pursuing. Experience: Minimum of five years clinical experience in healthcare or legal field.
