Job Summary :
Manage the creation, implementation, and administration of credit and collection policies, procedures, and processes.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities :
- Sets and manages the execution of departmental goals, metrics, and objectives, based upon overall corporate initiatives.
- Establishes guidelines for issuing credit liens to customers.
- Ensures that workflow adheres to standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements and ensures client/customer service satisfaction.
- Manages portfolio to achieve strategic company goals.
- Identifies target accounting to focus on improving payment habits while increasing sales through security transactions.
- Establishes guidelines for issuing credit liens to customers.
- Evaluates accounts requiring credit suspension or agency/attorney placement and works with litigation department regarding acceptable promissory notes, settlements, and necessary documentation.
Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 7+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
