The Selected candidate will be responsible for a certain number of assigned Ownership accounts and will contact delinquent customers to effectively resolve complex issues regarding past due payments while minimizing company losses. The candidate would need to make determinations as to the strength of 3rd party desire, ability and reason to determine the optimal resolution such as Modifications, Full Payoff, Short Sale, Forbearances, Deferments, etc. Responsibilities include direct contact with Customers, Realtors, Brokers, Attorneys, and Title companies to resolve assigned accounts. Monitors plans for monthly payments and works with vendors regarding compliance, coordinate systems updated with new codes and claim information. Document preparation consists of completing modification, repayment plan and partial agreements, following up with customers to obtain signed documents and forward for processing. Decisions are made within assigned procedures and policies. Document accounts with summaries explaining reason for default and resolution possibilities. Work with managers as to any projects in progress, as needed.

- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of mortgage industry experience required.
- Knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
- Loss mitigation/collections experience preferred.
- Knowledge of real estate transactions preferred.
- Closing experience preferred.
- Ability to understand real estate closing documents preferred.
- Previous title work preferred.
- Knowledge of collection laws preferred.
- Previous experience handling high volume office documentation preferred.
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
- Utilize all available tools and technology to document customer files within established procedures.
- Requires excellent communication skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CACS, DRI and Citilink operating systems a plus.
