This is a 24 hour per week part-time position. Hours are flexible, afternoons, evenings and weekends. The Document Specialist creates, revises, proofs, prints, and transcribes documents using Word 2007, Excel 2007 and PowerPoint 2007. The specialist also scans paper documents to a variety of formats, burns files to CD or DVD, assists with electronic fax delivery and converts files between various formats using conversion software. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.* Deliver excellent customer service to firm attorneys and personnel.* Create, revise and proof complex legal Word documents using firm best practices.* Create and revise basic Excel and PowerPoint documents using firm best practices.* Convert Word to WordPerfect and WordPerfect to Word files using firm best practices.* Compare documents and track document changes using native Word and Litera Change-Pro.* Scan paper files to various formats including OCR.* Log all help requests in Help Desk ticket tracking database.* Complete other duties as assigned.Stinson Morrison Hecker is an EEO employer.
